Ladysilver Posted December 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Anyone know if the Navigator is playing the Texans games on the big screen (or anywhere on the ship) on Sundays? They play the Colts the day we leave and we're HUGE Texans fans! :D
DutchCruiseFan Posted December 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2014 When i was on my cruise they were showing American Football every night except the nights they have "movie under the stars". But of course there are more games at the same time, so for you i hope they will pick the texans for the bigscreen ;) I think they will :D Greets from the Netherlands. ChicagoBound Posted December 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Let me save you some time and sum up the Texans-Colts game for you: Luck passes for 420 yards and 5 TDs. JJ Watt has a sack. Final score: Colts 42 - Texans 13. Now you have three extra hours to relax on your cruise!! :D - Signed a diehard Colts fan

I would not spend much time or energy wondering about the game, it may or may not be on "the big screen". Enjoy your vacation and don't worry about it. More than likely the Texans aren't going to the playoffs anyway. This from a Lions fan who's dealt with the grief longer than the Texans have been in existence......:D
Oville Posted December 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Typically the game of the week(think Pats/Packers for ex.)on each network is aired as well as Sunday and Monday night games. Not sure if this game will qualify,
mil76 Posted December 4, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Don't assume the local team to the embarkation port will be carried. Last month on Allure I assumed the Dolphins would be shown on Sunday so I spent the afternoon at the Flowrider, and then found out afterwards that they were showing my Ravens playing the Bengals, which was the featured afternoon game. In hindsight the Ravens ended up losing so I got more enjoyment on the Flowrider anyway.

matj2000 Posted December 5, 2014 #9 Share Posted December 5, 2014 Cruise ship television is the worst They do not have local programming that I have ever seen. Even if the ship is sitting in Galveston. You will get about 14 channels, but 7 will be RC commercials. The rest is CNN, FOX, ESPN, but not the one you have at home. They are some sort of international versions. You might be able to get updates on a phone app...
