I just saw (maybe about 15 min ago) a Royal Caribbean ship heading towards the shore from IlLugino hotel in Fort Lauderdale. ... and i logged in to see if you guys knew anything about it , but i see you are on top of it ;)

They just docked too (looking at the cam) ...

Which itinerary is she doing? Aren't they supposed to be back tomorrow anyway? I think she does weekly trips East and West Carib?

The Oasis just left Port Everglades this afternoon heading for LABADEE

Oh gee ... well hope whoever had the emergency will be ok ... and i am sure they will make up the time ...

We were on a Disney cruise where we had to go back to Miami mid cruise because they needed to get AC freon , but it was fun since i got to see how they docked her coming back to port which usually is very early while i am sleeping:D

Did anyone else just hear the captain say something about the CDC and the guest being on the gangway now? What would they need the Center for Disease control for? Unless I'm mistaken and that isn't what CDC stands for.

Interesting.

I heard CVT, which is an acronym for a type of stroke. (According to google.)

It is a simple process to remove a passenger who is in need of medical help.

I do not know what the problem is but hopefully there was no death involved.

If someone passes away on board there are lots of steps that have to be completed before the ship can be released. The police as well as the medical examiner and others must do

what they have to do before the ship can leave and this can take several hours if not longer.
