Liberty vs. Adventure Southern Caribbean?

Hi all,

 

My wife and some of our friends are trying to choose between the above 2 and was wondering if anyone has been on both of them and can do any recommending of one over the other. We plan on going in August of this year. Thanks for any opinions/information you can provide. Have a good New Year.

You won't go wrong on either! Liberty is essentially a slightly "stretched" version of Adventure!

I would choose based on itinerary, and /or best cabin for the price!

This is if you mean Liberty of the Seas, rather than Carnival Liberty. EM

RCI vs Carnival Liberty?

 

I have been on all 3 ships (RCI and Carnival).

 

RCI - both ships are great. One is larger (Liberty) and it has a flow rider.

 

Carnival Liberty is nice. Much smaller than RCI ships. Food was good.

 

I personally preferred the RCI ships. There are just so many activities.

 

PS. August is the beginning of Hurricane season. So don't be dissapointed if the seas are rough.

We just got back from Adventure southern Caribbean and I would not recommend the ship to anyone. The entertainment was disappointing. The service was poor. It seemed like the crew hated their job. Does liberty go out of Puerto Rico? If it does not I would say go on the liberty! If you do a cruise critic search on boats leaving from Puerto Rico you will read other's reviews. The food was good and the ship was beautiful but other wise I was disappointed. The ports were great!

Yes I meant Carnival Liberty, and I am thinking we are leaning towards that route, thanks for the replies guys.

I am trying to decide between the two also for May 3rd, 2015 and i HAVE been on both. the adventure will cost us about 200 more total, but it is one day less (6 days b/c it is transitioning from sun - sun to sat - sat). I liked liberty b/c it had the 2.0 upgrades which make it pretty nice. it is my bf's first cruise though and think he will like RC more. decisions, decisions..
