ShrinkinTexas Posted August 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2005 I know this is question is kind of stupid, and I told me husband, "no way"! But, he asked me to post and see if anyone knew for sure. Next year in Ketchikan, my husband is going Salmon fishing. He is wondering if he catches something, will he be allowed to bring it back on board and ask it to be cooked.--yeah right!!!
pinebro Posted August 25, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2005 Some Cruise Lines, Yes. Rccl Highly Doubtful. Better Yet, Have Your Catch Pkgd And Shipped Home. Due To Some Rule, You Get Your Actual Fish ! Cook Them Your Way (i Like To Grill) Then You Can Enjoy Them Anytime !!

TheWog Posted August 25, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2005 If we can't bring it onboard, why do we smuggle our portable grills onboard to use on the verandah??? ;) :D
cruisegirl1 Posted August 25, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 25, 2005 If memory serves me correctly, (ha) I believe there is a statement on the Alaska fishing excursion description about not being allowed to bring the caught fish on board. We spoke to a couple who had their catch cut and shipped to their home. They said the excursion was tremendous fun. There may be more info on the Alaska section of the "port of call" boards. We found wonderful info there. Marci
