We did it and you basically check in and they give you armbands. We

Never even got a room key or anything because we just wanted the access to the Atlantis. It was much cheaper than the ship excursion and with a can we got there before anyone else from the ship

Four bands if you book a room for four.

There are lots of fees added to the room cost!

There are details on the Bahamas board (ports of call section)

You can google "Comfort Inn Nassau" to get to their website to do a mock booking and see the exact cost for yourself and read about all the added fees to the initial room cost. You will need to take a taxi there and back, too.

I did it last Aug! My family of 4- saved $700 versus ( we did have a military discount) buying from Carnival. They give you your armbands and room key ( if you choose) and you are off. We actually checked in and checked out at the same time.

The base rate at Comfort Suites is for 2 adults. You can add up to 2 add'l persons to the reservation for a total of 4 per room. Add'l fees apply to added people ($40 per adult). There are taxes, fees, gratuities and VAT applied as well. (see CS website)

All guest my appear at the front desk for check in. They will be given a card to be taken to Atlantis to get their wristbands (they are not given out at Comfort Suites). Each guest will get their wristband attached by Atlantis staff. You don't get the wristbands to put on yourself or share. You are only given bands for each PAID guests.

Atlantis is cashless, so take a credit card.

I assume if you do this the hotel 3pm check in time does not apply? Will they do 'check in' if you show up at 10am as we only want access to Atlantis?

Liz

You can check in early (but the room probably won't be available). We got there before 9, as Atlantis is huge, and we wanted to check in, get our wristbands from Atlantis, and secure some chairs before 9.

Someone told us that you can get a room there and you get armbands to Atlantis with the room?! Has anyone done this and can clarify all the details. TIA

we are doing this for our july cruise, we have 6 people going so we have to book 2 rooms, we will have 2 extra armbands left I'm trying to see if anyone wants to split the cost of the 2nd room and take the 2 extra armbands, essentially getting the pass for atlantis for $72 each....we are so excited to go there, the kids love to watch the commercials about it on Cartoon Network!

You won't have 2 eXtra armbands unless you pay for 2 additional people in the room ($40 per extra adult, plus all the taxes, vat, mandatory gratuities and other fees connected with the rate.

Those 2 people would have to check in with you at the hotel, and go with you to Atlantis to get the passes put on their arm. They do not give out passes. You have to go in person to have them attached. You won't be able to say you have 2 extra kids and not pay for adults, since the card will indicate the number and type of guests.

Thanks, we will have 2 more passes, as I have reserved each room for 4 people, so as long as the 2 people want to meet us at the hotel and check in with us they will get their card

Great, if you pay for 4 ppl in the room, you will be allowed 4 wristbands. the other people won't have a card, they will have to go with you to Atlantis and get bracelets with the other 2 ppl booked into the room. Have fun.

Thanks for the info on how the cards work, and use of Comfort Suites. We have never been to Atlantis and are really looking forward to it. That was one of the easy islands to plan for on this curise. Have never been to Tortola so that one was tough to plan with kids!

Does the pass include all the facilities at Atlantis? I haven't been but would like to go. The ship's excursion is $72 and says it does not include the waterpark.....so I guess there is the beach, beach activities, waterpark....and an aquarium? Just curious again what the arm bands get us into. Thanks

You get the same access as those booked in the rooms at the Royal, Beach and Coral towers. You do NOT have access to Cove and Reef Pools and beaches, especially CAIN pool which is the adults only pool / outdoor casino that is for COVE towers guests only.

Waterpark, Main Beaches, DIGS, Most Pools and lagoons are part of the package.

How soon do they open up reservations? We don't cruise until June 2016, but those dates aren't available yet and when I try to do a mock res., I'm getting a message that there's no availability.

Does anyone know if I'm ok with the check in date being the day we are in port? Or do I need the day before?

Book The day you are arriving in port. You can check in early and get your card to get into Atlantis to pick up passes. You're room won't be ready until 3pm, but you won't need it. Pools open at 9am, waterpark opens at 10am.
