Quiet Spots on Crown

This year traveling with disability. No balcony, no 7 day, no money.:(

We're on the Crown for 4 days. We usually love to spend outside quiet time on our balcony reading and watching the ocean; inside quiet time in the library (Holland America), or quiet lounge with chairs that have the ability to put feet up (medical issue), reading and working puzzles watching the ocean.

Where are the best spots? Never sailed the Crown before - which are her sister ships so we could use info on them also.

Thanks so much!:)

Not sure about any chairs (haven't been on Crown yet but am probably on the same upcoming 4 day that you are on) but for peace and quiet you might try the aft public area on the Sun Deck (deck 16) located behind Sabatini's and Adagio. It's an area that many people don't know exists.

Crown, Emerald, Ruby are sister ships almost identical.

Quite Locations:

Best will be the Sanctuary, Deck 17 forward. There is an ADA lift to get there from deck 16. This has private lounge chairs that will be reserved for you. The lounge chairs will be there if you are there or not there. There is a fee to use this area, $20/half day, $40/full day or $30/full day if you book the entire cruise. You must visit this area as soon as you board to reserve it.

Other areas (free) that are nice to sit during the day are:

Adagio Lounge, and the area outside of it, deck 16 aft

Skywalker's, deck 18 aft

Anywhere in the Piazza, an active area, but a nice comfortable area, deck 5 mid ship

Terrace Pool, adults only, and decks above it, deck 14 aft

the Promenade deck is generally quiet but I don't recall whether any of the chairs have footrests.

or if you prefer to be up on one of the higher decks in the sun, if you go away from the pool/ muts area you can likely find some loungers available.

hope you have a wonderful cruise.
