Thanks for pics--looks nice--so you can really feel the wind when underway--can you still use the patio--or is the wind to strong?

Had a cabin like this on one cruise. The verandah is bigger than a normal verandah. You can feel the wind - because of the angles - usually on one side so you could use the other side. One day it was just too blowy to suit me but otherwise, we made out fine.

It depends upon the weather, itinerary, etc. of course.

The cabin feels very open and roomy due to its unusual layout- the dressing room and bath are next to the couch. I believe it's a tiny bit smaller than the SA's but actually felt larger as it is so open.

Our main concern before we sailed in the cabin was a lack of privacy as the door pretty much open to the whole cabin- no "hallway" or curtain. We didn't mind as the door is kind of in a small corner of the hallway so actually very private.

Yes, the balcony can be windy but loved the size and the view to the side and forward.

Bottom line- we loved this type of cabin on Oosterdam- was a wonderful space to celebrate our honeymoon. We had 25 people in there on sailing day before our wedding and it was fine.

Is privacy an issue for you? Looks like the great views include views of many other balcony occupants and thus also being viewed by them.

We could see the people on the cabin balcony forward of us if they were standing at the railing. To see in to their chairs of cabin would have required leaning around the partition (like any other balcony). Same from forward cabins looking back- they could see us standing at our railing. We had the table in the deep corner of the balcony- totally private.

Thanks for the information (we are in a cabin with the same layout). We will just smile and wave when at the railing. Is it possible to see the aft cabins behind you when you are at the railing?

No more than any other balcony. The bump out faces forward
