milkman32 Posted January 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2015 So I have purchased the premium drink package for our cruise in April, decided today to upgrade to the premium package, called today and was told they would have to charge me the full amount again today, and would issue a credit in 7-10 business days. They already have my money, not getting more and then make me wait for weeks for a credit. Common sense says charge me the difference from premium to ultimate. Royal Caribbean lost out on my upgrade, might even cancel full drink packages and keep my money in my pocket. Poor customer service!!!! To change an order, you will need to first cancel the existing order and then make a new purchased for your desired beverage package.
kc320 Posted January 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) I thought I've read on here that you can upgrade once you are onboard & just pay the difference then... Edited January 24, 2015 by kc320

Sent from my iPad using Forums It's right on their web site when you purchase a package. So when they won't make a special exception for you it is not bad customer service. If your cruise is not until April then just cancel the premium package. After you get the refund you have plenty of time before April to get back on line and purchase whatever package you want.
