Princess Flightseeing Excursions in Ketchikan

I'm trying to find out which local company or companies Princess uses for their flightseeing tours to Misty Fjords and for bear viewing trips out of Ketchikan?

 

Does anyone know? I will post this in the Alaska forum as well.

My wife and I both took trips out of Ketchikan via Princess. Both were on ProMech Air.

Yes, I have toured with them, and also with Taquan Air, both via Princess.

 

Both have been great, with wonderful pilots. Very gentle fliers, not wild or scary.

Interesting point. On my Alaskan cruise, I was coming back in the afternoon from my morning tour and happened to see a slightseeing plane docked next to the ship itself and they had one empty spot so I went on a sightseeing tour just like that! So that was so easy. Maybe if you take a Princess flight tour, you can do it easily like that too!

They met us right at the end of the dock, and on the way back they dropped us off at a restaurant in town. Great flight, lots of information and scenic beauty. Very friendly, and considerably less expensive than the Princess offer.

There are a number of reputable flightseeing tour companies in Ketchikan. Just don't go with a one-horse operation and you should be fine. It is a unique and wonderful experience even if the weather isn't ideal.
