Long Beach Post Cruise

Our flight from LAX doesn't leave until 4pm.

I've looked into renting a car from LB to LAX, but it is rather spendy.

We might want to just walk over and explore the Queen Mary, then catch a shuttle back to the airport.

 

But...what to do with luggage? Surely I'm not the only one who ever thought of this option...does anyone know if there is a place to store bags while you explore that magnificent ship?

There is a hotel on the Queen Mary so I would imagine they probably have a place for holding luggage. Perhaps give them a call just to confirm?

Usually the bell hops will hold luggage. Remember to tip.

If you can get to the nearby Aquarium of the Pacific (which will occupy your time until you head for the airport), the front desk (from what I heard) will hold your luggage.

We booked a very affordable tour with Sunseekers. They will do a four hour tour of Hollywood, deal your luggage, pick up at the port and drop off at the airport.

Our flight is at 8:30, yikkeess, so we are doing a 7 hour tour for $89.

Arriving into LAX and booked into the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.Do I reserve a car to pick us up at the airport or grab a taxi? Is it far to Long beach from the airport?

It's a good 30 minutes with no traffic. Taxi will run about $75
