Just got home from playing tourist at Circular Quay. Here are some pics of the QE and the poppy wall. I asked one of the people selling the poppies if this poppy wall was a different one from the one they used in Auckland but he didn't know.

Thanks Mic. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy this morning but cleared up beautifully this afternoon. They will have a lovely evening to sail out of the harbour.

 

We took the opportunity for peek inside the revamped OPT, couldn't go in but we could look through the door. It looks good. Nice undercover baggage drop area as well.

 

2 weeks and 2 days and we'll be going there for real. :D

Completely by accident. I took about four shots of it and that was the only one where someone didn't walk into the frame in front of the poppy wall just as I took the photo. It was fairly busy down there.

Yes, that shot was taken about 1:30pm and there were lots more poppies being added after that. It will be chocka by the time they take it onboard.
