Insight/Comments on Emerald Princess

We have an option of the Emerald Princess out of Houston. Just would like some comments/insight into the ship/itinerary. have been on other grand Class ships, not Emerald. thanes All info appreciated. Would be sailing at march break.

Just off the Emerald 2 weeks ago. It was a last minute booking on a Friday before the Sunday sailing. :eek: Talk about last minute! Don't care too much for Roatan or Belize but do like Cozumel. Just enjoyed the ship and great food. Great duo in the Piazza called Strings and Steel. Violin and steel drum. They were very good. :)

We were on the Emerald for the Feb 1st sailing and are going again on March 1st.

The ship is one of our favorites....you will enjoy her.

As for Roatan and Belize, I agree with the previous post but the snorkeling is pretty good in both. In Roatan, can do Tabyanna Beach through the ship or schedule a private visit to Fantasy Island. We have been there several times and have always seen nice fish. In Belize can go to Caye Caulker to snorkel but other than that there is not much there unless you are interested in ruins.

Cozumel is just the same except there is also good snorkeling .

We have always loved Emerald Princess!

So much that we have her booked for 19 days when she returns to Ft. Lauderdale for 2016 cruises.

Look forward to having a wonderful time on your Emerald cruise. :D
