Just got off the Pride on March 8 also. I'm already to go back.

I loved the 2.0 upgrades and very happy to see the ship coming back to Baltimore. Though I found the prices and itinerary was much better during the short stay in Tampa.

Over and above the ship, the crew on this one is absolutely wonderful. Thirty years of cruising, 48 cruises under my belt and her crew comes in #2 of 48. I hate to see her leave Tampa also, though BWI isn't a stretch from Charlotte either ;) Just prefer to sail out of Florida.

Yes the clubs are good, dj and all, also the stage is right in front of big screen outdoor tv, has a stage there, there will be a Caribbean band and scenes of Caribbean playing on big screen on sail away, ice cream machines on both sides of big screen, cones, bowls whatever you prefer, and check this out, chocolate, vanilla, and choc/van swirl ... also frozen yogurt machines right beside the ice cream machines, flavors are chocolate, vanilla, and choc/van swirl (24 hrs a day) ......

They also have the karaoke (they had it with a band ) ... also with a dj sometimes .. sail away show also ... we only went to 1 show, it was good ...

You only have time to do so much .. we did 2 nights of comedy, then a karaoke

show another night, clubbed 1 night, 2 more nights comedy , and 1 show night,

along with Mr Sanchos, Tropicante, beach at Roatan, and stingrays at Cayman Island ...

If you never ate the seaday brunch, I think there is nothing better ... (huevos rancheros) shake and bake ... Wife liked eggs benedict and french toast ...

Here is the seaday brunch menu, i was hooked on it from our cruise last may on the Paradise

It sounds like you enjoyed your Pride cruise Griz. Glad to hear it. I can't wait. 24 more days and 17 hours...forget the minutes and seconds at this point...I'm SO excited!!

I will definitely tell munchkin about the french toast. She loves french toast!! (Truth be known, I do too...as long as there's tons of whipped topping). :D

Knowing that she doesn't really like the water ...(lol) it will be hard to get her away from this area -- http://www.carnival.com/onboard/waterworks

Don't quote me on this but, i think there is a 42 inch height requirement on the big slides .. is she close to that ??

The one slide is real fast and goes out over the sea ... it is fun ..!!!

Arrived at port at 11:00 was on by 11:30. Would have been faster but they were having a staff meeting when we arrived. (GF was mad we got there too early as she had read that boarding started at 1:00. Cruise newbie, ha!)

Debark day ship arrives around 6:30 am. Self-assist started about 8:30ish. We, zone 1, waited in exit line about 10 minutes once called. (Go to rear elevators. The line is much shorter than line through casino.)

The Pride is my favorite ship. Been on her six times and doing a b2b in Oct. Halloween is my favorite cruise. Can't wait to chow down on a guys burger and love her Pizza

Also try the chocolate cake you get from room service. To die for. Counting down the days till we board her

Just got off the Pride on Sunday.:( It was a great trip but very windy. The ship is in excellent condition and the food was very good. Love the upgrades.:D She is now on her way back to B'more - after her 14 day trip around the Caribe.:D Jase (Jason) is the current CD and is pretty funny. We had an awesome past guest (Gold/Platinum/Diamond) party!.

I have been on the Pride 3 times--going again in Oct. Looking forward to the new upgrades. I do have a question about the piano bar---Roger was there all 3 cruises and I loved him. I hear he is gone. Where did he go and who is there now? Is it still so much fun?

We also loved Roger in the piano bar. Sorry to hear that he is gone. Any chance he will be back by November when we cruise on the Pride again?

Hi Griz400

We will be on the Pride in October and I have never done the seaday brunch. The menu looks great, especially the huevos. Is it served buffett style? If not can you still order more than one item? My hubby loves to try new things on cruises and tends to order a lot, LOL.
