ok...couldn't help myself....had to take advantage of all the freebies that Norwegian is offering and booked the Owners Suite on the Dawn for next Oct (2016)....includes the bev package, dining package, obc and gratuities! Plus all the amenities you get with the suite!! (still way cheaper than a Haven suite)...so excited!! :D

ps...I also booked it via (an online booking agent that deals in Cruises only) and got an additional $150 obc from them!! Looks like we will be taking advantage of massages in the spa!! ;)

Wow! That's fantastic! Enjoy the OS Anita. I'm an Anita too :-). We were originally booked in two Courtyard Haven suites on the Escape. It's just four of us traveling so we changed our booking for the DOS because now two of us will sail free. The price difference was nominal so it was a no brainer. This promo has me seriously considering booking for 2017. Do you have any plans to book another cruise as well?

If you don't mind sailing on an older ship....you can get some pretty sweet suite deals....most of the newer, larger ships only offer 'haven' suites and I have never seen a super deal on one of those...(yet)....

Sooner or later, these older ships will be retired and replaced with the new Mega ships....so, had to grab this one while I still could...

And it's going to Bermuda!! One of my favorite places!! BONUS!!

 

The Star, out of Tampa also offers these type of suites....and the best deals will be found usually in Sept/Oct....which everyone will tell you....'That's hurricane season!'.....but not to worry....Norwegian will not drive a ship into an hurricane...it will go in another direction....is it a gamble?? of course....but we've never regretted any of our Sept/Oct cruises.....best deals/least amount of children!! :D

 

You will also find super super deals for early December sailings....

I did the exact same thing for the Gem in Nov 2016 out of San Juan! When I booked it didn't include DSC but with over $500 OBC who cares! LOL 3 bottles of booze in the suite, unlimited drinks & unlimited dining. We will have to figure out how to spend all of the OBC. Excursions, spa etc.

Yes, the 4 DOS are on 12 and the 4 OS are split between 9 and 10. Are you in the inner or outer DOS on 12? The outer have a really nice side wing to see down the side of the ship.

We had our choice....so I grabbed 12502 on the side....much more of a view....the inside DOS's have a small 2nd bedroom which would be great for extra people or kids....but since we will be sailing with neither....I went for the spectacular view!!!

And...omg....there is a tv in the bathroom over the Jacuzzi tub!! :cool:

I think you missed the part where the poster said 'TWO OF THEM WILL SAIL FOR FREE' ....Norwegian is offering passengers 3-8 for free on this special....I would have done the same thing!!

You need have your TA add the DSC before its to late, even if they have to cancel and rebook. We DID IT and now have the DSC included. Then we changed to the DOS[emoji12]

they could rebook it...but the maximum obc is $200 for suites and $300 for haven class.....so, it looks like they dropped the obc amount and added free gratuities.....

I guess it depends on how long this offer is running....my booking agent is running a special of $50 deposit per person....but that is only good for sailings within the next 12 (or 14?) months....so I had to pay full deposit for this booking....We've already booked two cruises for this year....so...idk...if I find something good for next spring, with the small deposit, I might book something for next spring...

AWESOME!!! Make a video!! There are no video's of this actual cabin....there is a video of the Star 12502.....and a so/so video of Dawn 12002 (opposite side)...but it's not very good....

And let me know how it is!!! I've sailed on both the Star and the Dawn before...but never in a DOS....
