Any wild dogs at Blue Kay?

We are taking a Holland America cruise next week, and travel with a Labrador, a Service Dog certified for public access.

 

I'd like to go ashore, since we have obtained the needed paperwork for Mexican officials to admit the dog, but we try to avoid situations where there may be wild, unvaccinated animals running loose. (Such as ruins with monkeys running around.)

 

I read the great info (thanks so much Mitsugirly) and looked at the wonderful photos. Blue Key looks great. Do you recall any dogs there?

Maybe other have seen them but I don't recall ever seeing any "wild dogs" or stray dogs along the malecon.

We spent a lovely day there about 3 weeks ago. There were 2 sm/med sized female dogs hanging around. They seemed very shy and submissive and would run away when they saw some staff coming.

We did not see any dogs the day we were there. :)
