Kobayashi Posted May 1, 2015 Author #26 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Piano Bar The pianist for the ship was Russell Blues. He also participated in the Playlist Production show of 88 Keys. I attended the first night for a few minutes but left soon after and never returned the rest of the cruise. The times the piano bar was open I rarely saw more than a few people. A copy of the artist’s song list is included in this section.
Kobayashi Posted May 1, 2015 Author #27 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Punchliner The Mad Hatter’s Ball is the location for the comedy show and karaoke. We had four comedians during the cruise – two comedians for the first part of the week that would depart for the second half of the week when two more came aboard. Here were our comedians: The Punchliner Signature Drink
Kobayashi Posted May 1, 2015 Author #28 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Punchliner Continued: Make Sure to Get a Seat Early or You’ll See This Sign There is limited seating for the comedy show and a sign will be posted about reaching the maximum capacity. Once the show is completed, the room is cleared to allow those waiting in line to attend the next show. There was often a line for these shows. The main show room is located one deck above and the Mad Hatter’s Ball. Mad Hatter’s Ball is Also The Location for Karaoke
Kobayashi Posted May 1, 2015 Author #29 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Red Frog Pub The band Hot Tub Rhyme Machine would play here on certain nights and their music would often follow the theme of the night’s Playlist Production show. For example, the band would play music of the 80’s following the show 80’s Pop to The Max. The venue was well used more so than the previous Jeeve’s Lounge that was replaced by the Red Frog Pub. Kobayashi Posted May 1, 2015 Author #32 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Sports Bar – Skybox The first round of the NBA playoffs took place the week of our sailing and at least three games per night were being shown on TNT or ESPN. The Skybox does not have NBA TV so we weren’t able to watch those games however, we did watch any other games available. During this time the bar was full and other times the bar was empty.
