High Water Update

[Avalon Waterways]

In the last week, parts of Europe have received a great deal of rain. While the weather situation is improving, sections of the upper Rhine remain closed to sailing; however, Avalon Waterways anticipates shipping to reopen on the river in the next day or two. We do have cruises currently sailing that have been affected. Our operations team has worked diligently with Captains and Cruise Directors to establish alternate schedules, sightseeing and excursion options for our guests.

I totally agree with those comments! Thank you so much for communicating with the board. Communication is key when it comes to ever-changing situations like this; sometimes that is all that is desired by the passengers. :)

Count me in! Very impressed that Avalon would take the time and initiative to let everyone know about the river conditions. That said, we are sailing in a few weeks with another river cruise company and haven't seen anything from them. :(. Luckily we do have our first trip with Avalon early next year.
