kona_wahine Posted May 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2015 I've read the tendering process in grand cayman is super slow. So far, our ship is the only one listed in port that day. I want to do a private tour and wondering if we should get FTTF. The reason I'm asking is we are doing a B2B and will get it for the first leg, but other than the tendering (and possible GS visit - who knows...) I wasn't going to get it for the 2nd leg. winterpeg2004 Posted May 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Grand Cayman is a quick tender. Good size tenders and only a 5 minute ride.
vwrestler171 Posted May 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2015 I've never had to use priority tendering in Grand Cayman, lots of tenders and they move quick
yamsi12 Posted May 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2015 was there 2 weeks ago on the Splendor. 5 minute ride and very fast boarding time.

xeroxme Posted May 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 13, 2015 Grand cayman is an easy tender. The boat will be close to shore. Never has been a problem. Belize is a long tender boat ride.
mumtopugs Posted May 16, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 16, 2015 We docked at 7am, we walked down at 730, got right on a tender and by 745 we were on shore.
cruisexlife Posted May 16, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 16, 2015 You don't really need it in Grand Cayman. The tenders hold hundreds of people, and the ride is about 5 minutes. You should be fine. Now, getting back on is the hard part, but FTTF And VIFP Tender Priority only cover Ship to Shore, not Shore to Ship, so getting it won't help that either. You'll love GC, one of my favorites! OCruisers Posted May 16, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 16, 2015 Grand Cayman is one of the very easiest ports you will ever tender! :D LuLu
