NiceAFT Posted May 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2015 We are considering going on a cruise with Celebrity for the first time. Can you tell me if they have an adult section with a pool??? Also, what are the added costs? restaurants? Thanks
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2015 Solstice class ships have a covered pool area called the Solarium. It is adults only, although in some climates when the weather would be too cool to use the regular pool, they might open to children for a couple of hours a day. These are pictures of the Solarium on Solstice:
Champagne Cruiser Posted May 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2015 The Solarium pools on M class are also adult only and they are thalassotherapy pools which are heavenly and no charge. Extra charges are: specialty coffees at Cafe Al Bacio (but the food there is free), spa treatments specialty restaurants (but the MDR food is so good there really isn't a need to go unless you really want to.). Gelato, but the hand scooped ice cream with lots of toppings and great cookies are free.

Also, inside the Solarium's on all the ships is the Aqua Spa Café which serves healthier food and is open to everyone. There are some items which are an extra charge but most items are free. The Solariums on the S class ships of which Silhouette is one are larger and have regular pools. Most of the time if they open it to kids it will be for and hour or so and is done when the weather is bad or cold.
