With one of the companies that comes into the port and can shuttle you back to their facility.

We've used Thrifty right outside the Port Everglades gate and also Budget on 17th Street. We try to avoid doing this at FLL when possible..but a few times we have had to.

We frequently do back to back cruises between Miami and Ft Lauderdale. We rent a car from Hertz downtown (Miami Downtown HLE 354 Southeast 1st Street )which has a free shuttle from the ship to their office. The return in Ft. Lauderdale (Ft Lauderdale - Port Everglade Fort Lauderdale 455 Southeast 24th Street)also has a free shuttle to the port or you could return it to the airport if you are flying out.
