Question On Aruba Marriott

Has anyone every booked a one night reservation at the Aruba Marriott and then just not slept, but used the facilities for the day while in port? We are thinking of this since we are in port for a long time.

The question is will they let you check in early

We booked the Renaissance in Aruba using Marriott points in 2013. Got checked in to our room immediately at around 9:00 AM.

 

Used their private island and enjoyed the hotel and casino until 10:00 PM. Very memorable day for us.

Is it ever an issue to get checked in early? I'd be a little annoyed if we couldn't use the full benefit of having it for the day.

No matter what hotel we have stayed in on the island, regardless of the time of arrival (early arrival when switching hotels as we did on our honeymoon), we could begin using the resort's facilities and amenities.

 

Unless there is an open room, the room will not be available until check-in time or shortly before.
