Are 16 year olds allowed in the lounges that have musical entertainment in the evenings if with an adult? My son is a big music lover.

Absolutely "yes". The only restrictions are the casino (where there is no live music anyway), the Viking Crown Lounge after 10 P.M. and the nightclub, if there still is one on your ship. (they are being stripped out, refurb by refurb)

Yup! My 12 year old sat with us on several evenings in the Dog & Badger on the Independence at the end of February. We really enjoyed Damian Joyce.
