Celebrity Solstice 2D Obstructed Balcony Question

Thanks everyone I have changed cabins to 6208 :)

Thanks for the advice!

Great choice. Our friends were in 6210 and 6208 -- both loved those cabins. We were in 6240 and also loved that but there was some white noise that some might object to....not us, though. None of these rooms had any obstruction that bothered any of us....very slight. Enjoy that cabin!!

We were booked in a 2B cabin as part of a group ... they wouldn't let me downgrade, even though I tried like heck, to 6210. I think these are better than the 2B cabin we have just a few cabins away on the center of the hump.

2C and 2D cabins are not the same. 2C cabins look down on lifeboats. 2D cabins are in front of larger tenders which block the view out. We were in 6209 and 6210 last January. They have the largest balconies and are only slightly obstructed by the tender. Fantastic stateroom and location for the money!

We spent 35 days in 6206 which is the start of the hump. It was quiet and close to the elevators. The only issue we had was one day when the crew were working on the tender doing some maintenance and she who must be obeyed was walking around in what she was born in. A quick cover up and all was fine. One just needs to be aware that maintenance on the boats is carried out from time to time. Noone by the way saw what they shouldnt

What did you think of 6208 wendycook22?? We have booked this cabin in December!!

Frangipani Girl - My cruise isn't until April 26. We also ended up getting a free upgrade to a Concierge Class, so we have switched cabins. There is a video on youtube of this cabin.
