pre-book excursions

Recommended Posts

That will sort of defeat the purpose....if you cancel onboard, the refund goes to your onboard account....not to the credit card you booked with. (Of course, if you use the same credit card for your onboard account, that would work)

Better to suck it up, and pay in advance, if you want to book in advance...or just wait until you're onboard if you want to spend your OBC>

Has anyone ever pre-booked an excursion to make sure you had the spots and then cancelled on-board and then rebooked the same trip because of OBC that you weren't expecting to have.

Sorry..but not something I would do.

Being a little over organised at times I always book every excursion, if taking any, in advance. I never have a problem spending OBC, especially with the Casino close by...... The roulette table is a great way of converting OBC into cash. Or a great way of losing it all of course.....

Never, I pre book my excursions so I can have the spot and not have to worry about standing in the horrible line.

I agree, the fewer things I have to do once I board the ship, the better. we easily use our OBC on our replenishment drink packages and Internet packages. If we have more than that it can go to gratuities.

Actually it would work. If they cancelled the excursion then that would be refundable OBC. Perhaps the OBC that they had ton their account was non refundable. If they cancelled and rebooked the non refundable OBC would be used first leaving them with OBC that would be refunded after the cruise.
