Oceana

I am looking at booking a balcony on the Oriana. Can anyone advise how the ship compares to other ships ie Oceana and if she is looking tired and dated at all.

Many thanks.

We on the other hand love the ship. Elegant but she is 20 year old. She has possibly the best bar in the fleet and a lovely tiered stern.

Because the ship is adult only she does tend to have an older clientele. She has a large number of repeat cruisers as she is generally well liked. Her cabins are bigger than Oceana and she is a better bad weather ship as she was built to cross the Atlantic and do world cruises. Oceana was built for short Caribbean cruises.

We love her too.

My OH works in the leisure industry seven days a week in summer and we can only holiday between November and February. He loves to just chill out on Oriana.

There is something about her and she is very elegant.

Lovely theatre and cinema... no flow rides and rock walls of course!!

Very happy atmosphere which makes for happy crew and ship!

Of course this is only my humble opinion....
