Norwegian Jade Owner's Suites 9004 & 10004

I'm not sure if this is the correct venue to post this question - - but I am trying to book one of the two available Owner's Suites on the Norwegian Jade for a date next year -Cat. H3 - and both confirmations are showing, in red letters, "Balcony is enclosed". Has anyone been in either suite - - and is this indeed true? It appears there are two balconies in these suites - one in living room and one off the bedroom, according to the drawings NCL has for the floor plans. How can the balconies actually be enclosed? And, if they are not, why would NCL claim they are? They wouldn't. But the floor plan clearly shows balconies - - so I'm confused. Sure would appreciate any help from you Jade cruisers out there. . .

I've been in 10004, too and the balconies are open to the air. When the ship is at sea, the forward door for the forward balcony is secured but that is an open air balcony with no roof. The side balcony has a roof above it, but is otherwise an open air balcony.

All correct. We have stayed in 10004 on Pearl and Jewel and 9004 on Pearl. If we had a choice between the two we would take 10004. The cabin is a bit larger on deck 10: the dining area has a bump out for the table, the living area, the bedroom, the bath and dressing room are all larger.

The front deck and the side balconies are comparable on both decks.

We were in OS 10004 on the Jade last year, and the balcony on the side was what they called enclosed - but that just meant that it was a little "framed in" as has a roof and nothing to worry about - see photos below (they are all from Jade OS 10004). It was fantastic to sail in and out of the various ports, and have both the front balcony and the side balcony available to view the landscape from different angles. And plenty of room on the balconies for guests to come and see together with us - we invited several from our roll call......
