jenne252 Posted July 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2015 Hey there! We switched ships and we are now in Aruba from 1pm - 8pm instead of the day time. We had planned on the Occidental or Renaissance, but it seems we would need to leave by 6pm at each of those resorts. Does anyone have any experience with an AI that does not have a time restriction? Or, does anyone have any experience visiting Occidental or Renaissance from 130pm - 6pm and is it worth it??
cb at sea Posted July 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2015 If your ship leaves at 8, you'll want to leave by 6 to get back! You have to be onboard by 7:30 if your departure is 8pm. Plus...after 3-4 hours in the Aruban sun, you'll be done....stick you with a fork, done! And, you really don't need to pay for an AI...the beaches are all public and free...probably works out cheaper to rent a couple loungers, and buy food/drink as you want it! Hatteras51 Posted August 1, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Occidental has been sold, so be sure to check with the hotel to see if they are still selling day passes.
