Back to Back on the Allure

Recommended Posts

We are going to be doing a back to back on the Allure doing the Med. Are there any special considerations made for back to back passengers? We are staying in the same cabin for both weeks. Will we have to get off the ship and get back on? Anything else that we should be aware of?

Thanks.

Each port handles consecutive cruisers differently and since your turnaround day is in a foreign port, it could be different yet.

You will receive a letter in your cabin midway through the first cruise giving you instructions and details. Depending on the number of consecutive cruisers you may have a meeting prior to the end of the first cruise and then they may just give you instructions in the letter and have you meet in a specified location on the morning of debarkation.

I would suggest that sometime during the first cruise you pay a visit to Guest Relations and make sure they have you listed as a consecutive cruiser.

Yes you must exit the ship with a RCL representative and then right back on.

Thats what you have to do in the USA, but all the b2b's we've done elsewhere you get your new seapass card left on your bed on the last night of the 1st cruise. Don't forget, each cruise is treated seperately, so make sure you query/settle anything on your first cruise bill before the second one starts. We did a b2b2b out of Barcelona a few years ago and it is really easy to get off and go exploring for the day if you want to, or just stay on the ship! If you do get off, with your new seapass card in hand you can just walk straight back on the ship past all the queues.

BIB: I echo this completely, and this includes photographs. On our B2B last year, the photography staff said that it was definitely available to combine the best photos across the two weeks into one package. Lo and behold, at the end of the two weeks, we were told that this wasn't actually possible. Needless to say, it didn't go down very well. If you like some photos from your first week, buy them there and then!
