What Deck & Room were you on Caribbean Princess?

We just returned from the 4-24 sailing of the Caribbean Princess. We were in Emerald 732; I think it was the fourth cabin from the aft end. Turned out we were directly above Club Fusion. We had been a little worried about it after reading some of the posts here, but it turned out to be a non-issue for us. We could hear, or rather "feel" the music but it was really more of a "beat" thing than actual music. I never actually heard singing and couldn't identify any specific song. I couldn't tell you how late it kept up because it didn't keep us up. Had no problems going to sleep. I think that far back on the ship has a little more movement but again, it didn't bother us in the least. Like being rocked to sleep every night. I LOVED the fully covered balcony; spent lots more time out there than on previous cruises when we had a partially covered or open balcony. The balcony was big too; probably about 6 x 10 feet. It held two regular chairs, two reclining chairs (not lounges, just chairs), a table about 3' square and one of those little square footstool-type tables.

Don't know what I was thinking. Our cabin was E724 (not 732). But it was just above Club Fusion.

I have read quite a bit about the "exposed" balcony and the soaking wet furniture in the mornings...would love to hear from anyone who found these things to be inconvenient or not. I enjoy sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings, but just don't want to have anyone staring down at me! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] (not that they would want to, but I think you know what I mean!

Anybody stayed in E326, Caribbean Princess, it's an obstructed view, the diagram looks like the life boat is smack dab in the middle of the window, but I know the diagrams can be deceiving.

Someone said NOT to leave stuff out overnight because they will be wet the next morning. I think we are fully exposed to the balconies above us - WATCH WHAT YOUR DOING - [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] I also read someone said they had NO problem with wet stuff - I will anxiously wait for your return - do you think you can get some pic's of the cabin and balcony??? Why are some of the mini suites on the dophon deck listed a AA category? Are they larger or is it only the location nearest to the middle of the ship. Also, do you have to pay more for an exposed deck that is visable to those on top of you?

Thak you for the response. I finally received my Princess book and I am clear on the deck arrangement.
Travel Agent says Princess has had no feedback about noise from club fusion, but just in case we paid $20 extra and we are now midship on Dolphin deck.

We are in cabin C415 on the November 13th sailing. Has anyone had a cabin on this deck (Caribe) in this area (midship)? Any pictures to share, especially the balcony arrangement? CruiseTodayNotTomorrow... we are in the same exact cabin on May 22nd. We'll be sure to report back when we return. We have cruised the Grand and had the experience of the Caribe deck - half covered and half open and it is big!

Any pics you could forward, especially of the balcony, would be great! We have also had Caribe balcony cabins on the Grand and Golden and they were BIG. [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif[/img] Posts on the CP have said there are 4 chairs (maybe two loungers) and a table on the balconies. We've always had only two. Have a WONDERFUL trip. I will be anxiuos to hear from you when you get back.

KeysRes just reading your reply to my post. My thoughts are " A cruise ship with no diet coke". I paid for that and service. To be told they were out when I knew he was lying. Asking for a supervisor got me what I asked for and had already paid for. Some people have to have coffey first thing in the morning, I have to have diet coke before i go to bed. Strange but true.

I don't think they are any bigger but not 100% sure about that. They are AA because they are midship.

We had D503 - starboard mini-suite, midships with open balcony - lovely location and cabin (AA). we then move for our second week to E723 - starboard mini-suite, aft with covered balcony.

Club Fusion is not open as long hours as Skywalkers and the noise was not particularly intrusive. A couple of times we heard a slight noise, but not enough to disturb even the lightest sleeper - the ocean was louder than the Club Fusion (endearingly known as "Confusion")

Our cabin is 437 on Caribe Deck. In the deck layout it looks like there is a door right outside, is this true? Will we hear open/closing?

On 5/22-5/29 CP, we were in B317 inside cabin. The room was nice sized, even with the beds shoved together. The room was more square than HAL's inside cabins. HAL's are around 190 sq ft, but are long and narrow (10' X 19'). The CP's cabin, although smaller in st ft, appeared wider.

For the person asking about the crib, it is going to be a tight fit, doable, but snug. Tons of storage in a small room.

We would book this or another comparable room again.
