Tours Offered Right Off Ship?

Hi All! Has anyone taken advantage of the tours offered by MANY right off the ship in Nassau? I have been there several times and have never taken anyone up on them. We are considering doing this when we are there in November. Can anyone weigh in on this? TIA!!:)

We would do some research before and know what we wanted to do.

 

There are lots of good excursions in Nassau- we would plan an excursion, know what to expect, and know the cost.

We took a snorkeling trip offered in port from "Total Package". Worst tour ever. Don't get me wrong, the snorkeling is phenomenal, but the taxi and boat that took us there were downright dangerous. We were taken to Paradise Island, and had to pass a bunch of surly Bahamians making nasty comments, and the rest of it was just awful. The boat looked like a rowboat with a motor with no steps or bathroom. :mad:Book before you go!
