firefighter bill Posted August 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2015 I will be in the southern Caribbean for the first time next June and I will be stopping in Aruba, Bonaire and Grand Turk. I already know I will scuba dive in Bonaire and I plan on diving at at least one of the other stops. I may do some kind of fishing trip as well and was wondering does anyone have an opinion on which place to dive and which place to fish? I have looked at Driftwood fishing charters on Aruba and they seem to be a pretty good deal. It will be my son and I on these excursions.
Sevencruiser Posted August 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2015 I haven't been to Aruba or Bonaire yet. But I have been to Grand Turk. I'm not a diver, but we did use a dive outfit in Grand Turk to take a snorkel excursion to the famous Grand Turk Wall. It made me wish I was a diver. Do some research on it. We used Blue Water Divers based on great reviews and were not disappointed at all. We're on the same cruise by the way.
OCruisers Posted August 31, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2015 You certainly picked a good one -- Bonaire -- to scuba ... great snorkeling as well! We've only snorkeled in Aruba which was fine but not as good as Bonaire. Friends had a wonderful time on a fishing excursion in Grand Turk. All three are great port stops for the things you like to do! :D LuLu
