Just back from our voyage. I am happy to answer any questions

Which machine did you leave all the money in at the casino? :D

Were the shorter hours of daylight beginning to affect excursions at all?

Did you see the northern lights?

Any surprises you encountered dining-wise?

Oldstylecubfan : We arrived in Vancouver on Saturday to find out the airport in Seattle was closed due to high winds. We were only delayed 30 mins. On the ship it was windy with rough seas starting after supper on embarkation evening and the rough seas lasted through the night until about 2 pm on Monday. I think the ship report said gale winds and 10-12 ft swells. Other than that we had smooth sailing. Beautiful weather only rain was on the first night during the wind. I believe the captain changed his route that night to try to avoid some of the weather. Didn't bother me at all. Rocked me to sleep.

Mbuenzli : I'm not a gambler, but my boys loved a quarter game in the casino, they won a few bucks. The only excursion/port that was dark was Victoria since we arrived at 6 pm. We did see the northern lights, they were beautiful, a little hard to see due to lights on the ship. We see them here at home often, but nice to view them out on our balcony on the ship. No surprises with dining. I enjoyed the food, lots of variety at the buffet, MDR we visited only during breakfast or lunch and they had limited menus but the good was still good. We had the dining plan and visited all of the restaurants except Moderno. We cancelled our reservation so we didn't miss any time in Victoria. The food in the up charge restaurants was excellent.

Thanks. Don't think we'll be seeing much in the way of blue skies next week.
