Cruise fare balance

Have just had a strange conversation with RCI :confused: I phoned to ask to pay the balance of my cruise (sailing November ) the man I spoke to was very bemused and kept asking if I was sure I wanted to pay and did I really want to pay the full amount ?? :confused:

My payment is due on the 11th Sept and I'm only paying today because I'm away on the 11th but he really sounded as though he didn't want my money !! Have I caused a stir ?, will I win a prize for asking to pay 3 days early ? Is that so unusual ?

Nothing wrong with paying early. Lot's of folks pay even earlier than you.

I wouldn't try to read anything into the actions of the person you spoke too. Many try to delay payment as long as possible so his reaction is understandable. I made final payment about 10 days early just to make sure there were no issues.
