need2bespoiled Posted September 22, 2015 #52 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Was responding to post "44" Port side. I know what you mean Jenna[emoji4] Phil We appreciate you taking care of this before we arrive so hopefully we can avoid it. Can you make sure there is an umbrella for the table in the balcony? It's going to be pretty hot wear we're both going :) Happy sailing, Jenna
NCHPcruiser Posted September 22, 2015 #53 Share Posted September 22, 2015 We have just booked our first suite[emoji106]. How does Luminae work? Do you need reservations, or just go when you like. Will they have tables around 7 pm when everyone wants to eat? Thanks. We returned yesterday from 10 days aboard the Reflection dining in Luminae seven evenings. Natalie (front deck at Luminae) is wonderful and helped us with reservations ahead of time (for Luminae as well as specialty restaurants) but we changed those times as necessary. Only once (second formal night when many people were working around 8:45 and 10:45 showtimes) could we not get the specific time requested but were accommodated within 30 minutes of the requested time. I am sure our desired time would have been available if we had requested earlier in the cruise rather than the night before.) We usually had a table by the window when we had made a reservation early in the cruise. You shouldn't have any problem getting a table at 7 pm or any other time for that matter even if you don't make a reservation.
