Returning to RCCL after several year ( hey, they left us west coasters stranded) for the Sept. 26 coastal on the Jewel. We have reserved MTD at 8:30 for the nights we are not in the speciality restaurants. How do we get a 2 seater in the MDR? Any way to reserve in advance? Thanks

I'd stop at the concierge desk outside the MDR as soon as you get on board and ask. We had the early dinner setting originally on our cruise and asked if we could switch as soon as we got on board, we were switched to a table for 4, but nobody else was booked there, and as a bonus it was a window seat. Loved it!

We've always done MTD. When it was just DH and me, we asked for a 2 seater and almost always got a table by ourselves. One night we were put at a 4 top (no 2 seaters available) and then they asked if we'd mind another couple joining us. We didn't mind and had a lovely dinner with an interesting couple.
