Rare oskidunker Posted October 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Just got an email from Princess with deeply discounted cruises. Can these be booked or do they put you on a wait list?
carqueen1 Posted October 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2015 I have always been able to book them right away. Never had a stand by situation.
fishywood Posted October 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2015 No wait list; ready to be booked and paid for while they last. I have received "standby deal" e-mails in the past, but the one in my inbox today is titled "Drop and Go" which is pretty good targeting as I certainly have done that in the past living so close to Port Everglades. Are these fares available throught the cruiseline and a TA?
fishywood Posted October 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2015 From my observation it has been a long time since those fares were exclusive to the targeted recipients or even Captains Circle members in general. You can see the fares on princess.com even without logging in. I imagine if booked through your TA there would be little or none of the regular perks they normally offer as the commission on these fares is certainly negligible.
