Raina's blogging again. An Asian Expedition - Legend

Then the end!

Beautiful sail in to Portside Dock in Brisbane. Legend is small enough to fit under the Storey Bridge and to turn around....so is the only Royal ship that gets to dock here. The rest dock at the revolting Grain Terminal - an hour from town.

The ship was arriving for her new Home Port so there was lots of fuss.

Disembarking was quick and easy.

This was a great trip. Really good itinerary. If you have been thinking about it...do it! really good.

Legend is a really nice ship! Staff are brilliant. True there are no bells and whistles and the ship is older and smaller. But she is fantastic. Intimate, friendly - more like old fashion cruising!

So there I go.

I remembered to finish. Thanks so much for joining me on this trip. And for all your nice comments.

Again I apologise for being slack. But I really have been busy.

Why? Cause I'm off on my next trip.....tomorrow. And its huge.

I fly to South America - a few days in Iguazu Falls then down to Ushuaia in Argentine. Then I am NOT being loyal to Royal. I'm off on a small expedition ship to Antarctica!!! YAY. 21 days on a tiny ship. 90 meters long. In giant waves.

But then I'm jumping onto Rhapsody to sail 'Around the Horn".

So a 6 week trip. Blowing the budget big time but I have always had Antarctica on the list.

Cheers,

Raina

Thank you very much for your kindness to share your trip with us.

The pictures and stories are great your style is very easy to follow.

Great to read positive overall feedback on the ship. We'll be on her in a year's time and I'm looking forward to it.
