Any info about Payne Bay Beach or other beach in Barbados? Closest to the pier would be great. Thanks for any info. Beth

As this could be what is the "cheapest" question.

The cheapest way to get to a beach is a 15/20 minute walk to the Boatyard.

En route you may see a spot to your liking to spread a towel.

The are so many good beaches.

But CC members would wish to know your exact requirements to give a view.

Does anyone know if there are any beach clubs that charge a nominal fee for use of facilities, pool, and food and drink available for purchase. Not looking for AI.

Reasonable ?

Could ask Waves info@wavesbarbados.com

As they have a great restaurant called East for Lunch/Dinner, and they did offer a day visit.

Although AI it has restaurants. Price was a reasonable £110.00 per person, including AI (breakfast, lunch, dinner , drinks) and tips, about 5 years ago.

Ask Waves what they could offer for a day pass with dinks and Lunch only

I had a very good experience at Copacabana. We used the port taxi vans to Carlisle Bay Beach ($4 per person per way), and then they dropped us off right by Copacabana. The chairs were $15 for two and an umbrella. They had bathrooms and changing rooms, freshwater showers and wifi for free, and then a full bar and food menu for purchase. This was actually the best beach experience we've ever had throughout all of our world travels. Here are some pics:
