FTTF question???

I booked the 9 day Journey cruise leaving May 26, 2016 on the Splendor last November (2015). The ports are Bermuda, Grand Turks and Amber Cove. At the time of booking they were not offering FTTF. I have continued to check and it is still not being offered (I've been checking everyday since the first of the year!). My question is, did I miss out on FTTF or have they just not offered it yet? I have read that if it was open and they closed it sometimes they open it back up closer to the sailing date. Any helpful info on how to get FTTF would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :-)

Is there a certain time of day or night I should be checking or is it just random? I'm getting obsessed with checking for FTTF!!! LOL!!! If I don't get it its no big deal! I'm going to have a very fun filled cruise with FTTF or without it!!! Hurry up Hurry up Hurry up!!! :)

From what I've read, you may not have as much luck on the Journey cruises since they are attracting a higher number of platinum/diamond guests. Carnival claims that the number of FTTF available is partially determined by the amount of platinum/diamond bookings since some of the perks overlap.

I've purchased FTTF three times in the past: one about 6am, the second about 1:30pm and the last about 8pm. I think Carnival offers FTTF with no rhyme or reason, honestly. As you get closer to sail date check in multiple times a day. I've always booked in the last 2 weeks prior to leaving. Hope this helps!

That cruise is also a Premier Casino cruise, which treats every one on that promotion as a priority guest. That makes fewer FTTF available. Keep checking though. I have many times not gotten one until the last month. I have not seen a specific time of day, but would guess they release them during their business hours. Keep up with your roll call. Many times someone will post there when FTTF is available.

we booked our cruise for September last may and FTTF opened up a few days ago one of our dogs kept barking over and over would not stop so I decided to get up at 345am I went to check and was shocked it was opened so I grabbed one real fast about 15 mins later it was closed back up I would just say keep checking a number of times a day I think they open it after they see how many platinum and diamond members they have since it is only a limited amount offered

We're on your cruise May 26. We booked last summer and FTTF was available then. As previous posters have said just keep checking. Several years ago my sister booked last minute (~1week out) to join us & a few days later FTTF opened up so we were able to board together also!
