Has anyone stayed in the Residence Inn? We are booked for night before going to Allure on November 27th 16.

Our son has stayed there recently on business and said it is a nice hotel. It's similar to other Residence Inns which are quite nice plus it includes a nice breakfast in the morning.

 

Have you considered staying in Fort Lauderdale. A hotel we recommend often is the Embassy Suites and that has an even better breakfast.

 

They both have happy hours.

Plantation is 10 miles away from Port Everglades. There are many nice hotels that are much closer to the cruise terminal, many of which are around and under $100, so not sure why you chose this hotel?

I agree although under $100 might be hard to find on the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. Plantation is a nice suburb but not nearly as interesting or convenient as staying in Fort Lauderdale.

Our agent had booked the hotel. We are probably going to switch to the Embassy suites like before. Maybe bit more but I am good with it. Anyone sailing on Allure that weekend?
