couple of quick NCL questions

So we booked a Nov. 7 day cruise on the Getaway. First time sailing with NCL.

Questions.

We got the drink and dining package. How many nights are included in the dining package? When can we start making reservations?

Is the dinner show included as a dining choice or is that separate?

How many bottles of wine are you allowed to take on board with you? Is it two like Carnival?

You SDP given as a perk on a 7 night cruise is for 4 meals. You can make reservations 90 days out (100 if you are in a suite).

 

The dinner show counts as one of the meals and you still pay a reduced rate.

 

You can bring as much wine as you want onboard at $15 a bottle.

If you want to used your SDP for the dinner show then as Keith said, you'll pay a reduced amount. If you don't want to use it for the dinner show, I believe you can make all of your SDP reservations first and then reserve the dinner show (paying the full price for it).

When you have the UBP (drinks promo) you will have many options available of wine by the glass.

Thanks for the replies. Question about above. With Carnival you are allowed to take on a bottle of wine per person which can be drank in your room at no cost. With NCL do they charge you $15 per bottle that you take on board to be drank in your room? or is that just a corkage fee?

It is $15 a bottle corkage regardless of where you drink it.

 

It's paid as you board, so they have no idea at that time where you will drink it.
