mom2mnem Posted February 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 29, 2016 I tried to do a search , but didn't come up with anything. Does Anthem have a secret spot good for departures? We have been on 2 cruises and from reading these forums I was able to show my family some great secret spots. On our first cruise ( on Allure) the spot was perfect and we were able to see ourselves on the CruiseCam ( my son even brought up the cam on his phone and watched us waving during departure!) Thanks!! Lisa
Clarea Posted February 29, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 29, 2016 Too many people have asked about secret spots, so they are not secret anymore.;)
Lveh8lve Posted February 29, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 29, 2016 Anthem be on the pool deck to go under the Verrazano. It's pretty crazy as everyone yells "we're gonna hit". We had a blast!!
Jimmy Geegitz Posted February 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 29, 2016 I would probably just spend the whole cruise in that bubble thing. That way your protected from all the bad weather and noro viruses.
Biker19 Posted February 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 29, 2016 I would probably just spend the whole cruise in that bubble thing. Northstar. Unfortunately, they won't let you do that, and you'll get hungry/thirsty eventually.
windjamming Posted February 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 29, 2016 Try the wing balconies off of the Solarium. We happened upon them one evening, and I thought at the time it might be a nice spot for sail away.
robtulipe Posted February 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 29, 2016 (edited) Try the wing balconies off of the Solarium. Yes, on either side on the lower area at the front of the solarium just beyond the two hot tubs are the doorways out to these two viewing areas. Here, indicated by arrow, is the one to the starboard side balcony. Edited February 29, 2016 by robtulipe
Mom.to.2 Posted February 29, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 29, 2016 Are children allowed on the wing balconies or are they considered part of the Solarium? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mom2mnem Posted March 1, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted March 1, 2016 LOL!! Love the replies!! Going under the Verrazano sounds pretty fun! I will keep that in mind. Not sure if they would prefer quiet ( solarium wings) or crazy. So far we have found that despite the posts here, not many take advantage of the quiet sailaway secret spots. We have only been on 2 cruises, but with times there were maybe 2 other small groups with us. Lisa
