Recommendations for hotels in Sydney

I've not stayed there myself but do people think the Holiday Inn be a good recommendation for Peacockcruises?

 

Would not stay at HI Darling Harbour at the moment due to lots of construction noise from across the road at the now defunct Entertainment Centre.

Lots of great information here! We are currently booked into the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park for one night pre-New Zealand cruise and then 4 nights at the Amora Jamison Hotel between New Zealand and Australia cruises. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about these two hotels? :D

 

 

matttie00 have stayed at the Amora on Jamison a couple of times now before my cruises the accommodation is great the buffet breakfast not really worth the money if u have to pay for it on top of your accommodation way better place to eat breakfast. The gallery restaurant has tops burgers and chips if your after a simple dinner at night. Hope this helps

Thank you. Your comments about breakfast duly noted. I am sure we will be able to find something outside the hotel. Like the hamburger suggestion.:D
