Liberty- Embarkation day: What is open?

What is open besides the windjammer on embarkation day? Rock Wall? Swimming pools? Waterslides? Hoping to bring our swim suits in our carry on bags.

Pools, for sure. Rock wall...sometime on boarding day! Waterslides...if they are functioning, yes.

 

I wear my swimsuit under my shorts! That way, you aren't searching for a place to change!

 

Some of the small "snack" places may be open, but generally the WJ is the lunch spot.

Bars and pools are open. The two most important ones. :p

If ok with a snack lunch, Sorrento's for pizza and Promenade Café for sandwiches and cookies is open. Seem to recall the Flowrider was open.

Thanks all! Also, what is a good time to arrive.. coming from the Houston area and wanting to know what time we should leave- I think I read someone arrived at 10:30 and got on the ship at 11- sound right?

Sounds about right. We usually arrive at 10:00, but 10:30 is reasonable. You shouldn't have to wait too long before you are on the ship and having your first cocktail. :p

We try to arrive at the terminal around 10:45am.

Aggiecruiser - if this is your first cruise, you will not be able to board around 10:30,10:45. The first people on are wedding parties, then Pinnacle and Suites, then Diamond + and Diamond, then Emerald, Platinum and Gold. You would do best to plan on around 11:30, 11:45 at the earliest.

 

Outside bars and pools are open, as well as most everything on the Promenade.

Ok. Once upon a time sailed with rccl quite a bit... Our loyalty just moved to Disney and princess and always got on pretty early. Will wait a little later.
