As someone who has only sailed Holland America in recent years (all my other cruises were in the very distant past), I'm sure that I'll be asking a whole "boatload" of questions -- Both about Princess in general and the Royal specifically. I wanted to apologize in advance if there are times when I seem to be a board hog and also to thank all you nice people in advance for your future indulgence and patience!

We were on the Royal Princess in February/March and loved her. We will go back next year April to June.

We've enjoyed over 6 weeks on the Royal & Regal and would gladly sail on them again. :D

 

There's a sticky at the top of this forum where CC has posted over 3,000 photos of the Regal which is only slightly different than the Royal (Regal added a small aft pool, aisles on the side of the Princess Theater & I think an added window in Princess Live).

At the top of the forum it lists threads based on ships which could possibly answer some of your questions. If not then sure that someone will have some experiences & opinions they'll gladly share with you. :)
