How long to return a rental car to New Orleans airport ?

I want to rent a car after cruise at NOLA port and return it to the airport the day after.

I made a reservation with BUDGET on poydras street.

I would like to know how much time i need to return the car at airport.

 

Anyone returned a BUDGET car at airport recently ? How does it work, was it easy and is it fast ?

MSY has a consolidated rental car facility that is pretty close to the terminal. Go ahead and drop the rest of your party and their luggage at the main terminal then follow the signs to the parking structure with the rental cars. You then have to walk back via covered walkway to the terminal.
