I think they are still without electricity. The regulars who post on this board named Trent and Bequia have not been on all day so obviously the electric is still out.

I have power, but I'm on an "island" of light. Most of the area is dark as far as I can see. I know there is damage to some of the beach hotels, but I haven't been out yet except in my immediate area on foot. I'll probably get out more today though and let you know how the Embassy Suites and the other SE 17th Street hotels fared.

The Embassy Suites website states that they're not accepting reservations through November 2, so I assume that means they think they'll be able to have the damaged repaired by then.
