He uses a ....? At any rate...get a guidebook on your ports. You may find what you want to do is quite easy to do without an excursion at all! Also...google your ports...lots of info. You should always know something about where you're going...so head to your library, pick up a guidebook and start researching!

When you figure out WHAT you want to do, then we can make suggestions!

Look under Cruise Critic for "Ports of Call." Info for your destination from cruisers.

Most important is to join your roll call. Loads of info and perhaps small group tours.

Lots of info on http://www.Trip Advisor. Look up each port, and it will rate many activities.

Have a great cruise!

My husband and I are looking for smaller excursions on the cruise...any suggestions? He uses a .

You have received excellent suggestions from Cancruz and cb at sea. Tell us more as to where you are seeking smaller, private and/or more custom excursion options. The exact ports make a huge difference as to what is available, worth seeing/doing, etc.

THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

Did a June 7-19, 2011, cruise from Barcelona that had stops in Villefranche, ports near Pisa and Rome, Naples, Kotor, Venice and Dubrovnik. Dozens of nice visuals with key highlights, tips, comments, etc. We are now at 214,693 views for this live/blog re-cap, including much on wonderful Barcelona. Check these postings and added info at:
