Anybody on Dream recently, or soon ?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find out if there is alcohol free beer on the Dream drinks package ?

Probably "San Miguel 0,0" brand.

So, if anybody could liberate a bar menu and advise.......I'd be obliged.

I emailed Thomsons cruise services staff, however they can't help.

Just as well I didn't ask a hard question !!!

We are sailing October.

I got an answer from Thomsons by asking the question another way.

It is part of the deal.

This got me thinking about our October cruise on Majesty as I have recently started to drink alcohol-free beer. Just had a look in the bar menu we bought home from Spirit last month and none listed! Wonder if it would be available if I asked?

Thanks Tony, Thomsons have confirmed that it is on the Dream drinks package.

Strange that it wasn't on Majesty a few months back.

That suggests that not all Thomsons fleet have the same range of drinks offered in the package ?

  • 1 month later...
  • 2 weeks later...

I eventually spoke with a lady in the Thomsons setup who follows up complaints.

She said that non alcoholic beer is still beer, therefore it is not classed and priced as a soft drink.

OK - but the point is that there is no excise duty payable and it can be legally sold to minors, therefore, as I see things it should not be priced as regular beer.

It appeared she was more interested in finding out who had advised me wrongly that it was included in the drinks package - I didn't "grass" naturally.

Based on her definition above, I'll be interested to find out if Ginger Beer (not Ginger Ale) is sold on Dream at anything other than the normal £1.80 per 330ml can.
