On the Constellation Now 23rd July

So, after many flight delays and rerouting I am finally on the Connie.

This is my first time on this class of ship.

It is smaller than the S-class ships, but still not a small boat.

Other than many issues with my seapass ( 5 trips to guest services later) that are now fixed, it is a nice ship.

New cruise director just arrived today. Although we boarded yesterday. Richard from the Reflection is doing this cruise. Not sure if he is temporarily here, I will be sure to ask.

MDR meal was very good last night.

And the show was great. Hypnotist.

Captains Club party this afternoon.

Zenith members on this trip. Unfortunately it is not me.

So far so good.

Will try to update daily.

Unfortunately I am still looking for that elusive aft cabin on the Millie.

Looking forward to your updates. We sailed the Constellation back in 2013 and loved her. We had the best Captain ever. We will sail again on her in late September on an Adriatic cruise.

Had a great cruise on the Connie this Spring - Rome to Venice. Loved the Ship enough to book it again this coming March in Asia. Enjoy your Cruise & have a Venetian Coffee for us in Café Al Bacio :)

The attached image shows iPad Pro 9.7 32 gig but I think that you are saying they only have iPad Pro 16 gig. Am I correct?

Yes. Right now they only have the 16 gig. I will ask if they are expecting to get the 32 gig in stock soon.

So. They do now have the 9.7 32 gig in stock. New stock arrived.

As for the 12.9..... they do not carry that one yet.

Thanks for the update. I take it the party was scheduled for a port day then? It's usually held on the first sea day, however we've also had one scheduled at sailaway.

 

Did you manage to snag an aft cabin on Connie for this sailing? We have 2 and are looking forward to that view, especially sailing out of Venice :).
